Could be...: There are lots of reasons for memory loss or "brain fog". At your age, though, by far the most common would be perimenopause. You should have a thorough checkup and have your hormone levels checked. If the memory "shortage" is very severe, cognitive testing would also be important especially if you have a family history of any kind of dementia or you are diabetic. Good luck!
