Wow Thats A Lot: DM=Diabetes Mellitus, with your high BP/age it is likely Type 2 DM, which is a cond in which the body can not use sugar properly. As a result you get high sugars which can damage the body. HbA1c or A1c=hemoglobin A1c in older terms=A way of estimating your blood sugar for approx. the last 3 mths if we were taking it every sec. GLP-1 agonist=DM med, helps body use own insulin better to lower sugar
