Can ibs start at the age of 33? i had blood on my toilet paper about a month ago. now have pain in my tailbone and what feels like sore butt cheeks.

Yes: Can begin then or possibly go unnoticed until then. See the G.I. MD for examination and diagnosis. Any blood in stool, especially dark blood is enough to warrant a trip to the MD. Get it checked now and feel better sooner. Good Luck.
