I recently had soar throat like couple months ago and i'm not sure if my tonsils went down. is there anyway to tell?

Doesn't matter: It shouldn't matter whether or not your tonsils "went down". With or without an infection, enlarged tonsils are very common at your age. If you no long have a sore throat or swollen lymph nodes in the neck, don't worry about it. Of course see your doctor if uncertain or you remain concerned. Good luck!
