This vasodilator has: been removed from the U. S. market by the FDA because of its unproven safety & efficacy in humans. It was listed as a Class C drug in pregnancy, with known fetal risks at least in animal studies. It is definitely contra-indicated during & immediately after labor & delivery. It should not be used while breastfeeding. Please discuss safer options with your doctor.
