Is it possible to have lymphoma & lung cancer at the same time? are diseases related? would severe, painful swelling of foot,ankle,& leg be a symptom?

Yes: It is definitely possible, however it is more likely that if someone has lymphoma and a mass is found in the lung that it is a lesion from the lymphoma rather than a true " lung cancer". But both are possible. Biopsy would surely differentiate between the two.
