Benign fasciculation: Fasciculation is the medical term for twitching, which is quite common, often of the small muscles in the face: eyelid, tongue, nostril. The cause or why it comes and goes is not really known. VERY rarely, it is associated with a true neurologic disease. Sometimes allergies can cause this sensation in the nostril. Safe to watch a few days, but if persists, see doc for appropriate eval/tests.
