A member asked:

I had a doctor tell me that my uti was likely caused by a cheating spouse but i don't have std"s? should i trust this opinion?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Questionable: UTIs in general cannot be chalked up to a cheating spouse. Especially if you tested negative for STDs. A regular UTI caused by e-coli or other standard bacteria is not sexually transmitted.
