Often, yes: Every ARV regimen has a set of interactions. Most of them are not immediately dangerous but can alter metabolism of either your ARV or the other medication and many require dose adjustments or alternate medication choices. Any physician who prescribes an antibiotic to a patient on other medications (ARV or others) should check for and consider such interactions when choosing the antibiotic.
