Separate issues: Cefuroxime not the antibiotic most prescribed for wisdom tooth associated infection, but there are may causes of symptomatic wisdom teeth other than infection. Please see wisdom tooth specialist, Oral Surgeon, now. Also, if tonsils do not respond to your antibiotic, may be wise to see an ENT.
