My husband got tonsillitis 5 days ago. he is taking an antibiotic already. then found out he is positive for covid. he is now having crackling in his breathing. what can i do for him? we dont have insurance so im not sure what to do.

COVID: He should rest, hydrate, quarantine & eat healthfully. Consider use of acetaminophen, saline for nasal irrigation, decongestant or cough syrup. The crackling sound may be due to mucus in his respiratory tract. Get urgent care for difficulty breathing, blue lips, persistent chest pain/ pressure or new onset confusion.
