Is ovulating for too long bad? even if there is no pain whatsoever? what causes a woman to ovulate for a long period of time? let's say 2 weeks.

Doesn't happen: The process leading to ovulation lasts two weeks but ovulation itself does not. 48 hours is about all it takes for an egg to "explode" out of the dominant follicle.
