Misoprostol: Miistropol or misoprostol can induce abortion if taken during pregnancy. The effects of taking this drug depend upon the dose of the drug and the way the drug was taken. Cramping and heavy bleeding is expected. Taking this medication at 20 weeks or later has a high rate of complications including heavy and prolonged bleeding, incomplete abortion, and infection.
