A member asked:

My contact lens rx is -3.75 bc 8.8 dia 14.0 (left) & -3.50 bc 8.8 dia (right). what does that mean in terms of myopia severity & rx strength? curious.

Myopia: Your degree of nearsightedness is mild-moderate level. Your contact lens prescription indicates this -3.50 OD (right), -3.75 OS (left). The BC is the base curve of contact which is the curvature measurement in milimeters of the back of the contact ( smaller the number the more curved or steeper your cornea). The diameter is how wide the contact is and how it will rest on your eye.
