Need eval: You have described possible tendinitis which is inflammation of tendons. In this case the ones that control movement in your hands. This is most likely in someone as young as you. There are other causes. It matters if you hit your hand or not. If there is a cut or open wound, if it's red, swollen tender warm then toy should be seem right away.

Trauma?: Did you injure it? Is it swollen also. If not swollen or discolored. These signs and symptoms are present seek care. If not, baby it and if it does not improve, seek care.
