Not so easy.: Your girlfriend may have just found out that she had a severe fungal infection six weeks ago, but severe fungal nail infections can take years to develop. If you only used her shower once, then the chances are slim that her shower caused anything. Your best bet is to have your nails examined by a specialist. Early stages of nail infections are missed even by the trained eye.
