Could be infection: or irregular spotting. If there is more odor and frequent discharge unrelated to frequency of menstrual flow, then it's more likely to be an infection. Irregular menstrual spotting also gets worse with infection on board. Proceed to see a GYN or family physician to get yourself properly diagnosed and treated. And get a pregnancy test to be certain.
