Stones: I don't know what type of imaging you had-ultrasound, plain xrays or ct scan, but nonopaque kidney stones may elude detection. In some cases the stones are obscured by shadows or the stones may have been in the urinary bladder and not the kidneys. Your physician or urologist can advise you best as he/she knows all your findings.
