Diaphragmatic hernia: Means part of the stomach sledded into the chest cavity through the opening in the diaphragm where esophagus passes through to the abdomen. No complication as obstruction, or gangrene, (cut of blood supply to the area that sled causing death of tissues of that part) . Better though to ask the surgeon or the team who performed the procedure, they would be able to give you better answer
