A member asked:

I stopped taking zoloft (sertraline) because i was scared it would interfere with the plan b i took. i took the plan b pill over a week ago. is it okay to continue to take my zoloft (sertraline) (50mg) again?

Yes: The Zoloft (sertraline) wouldn't have interfered, and it is okay to restart it. Make sure to check a pregnancy test in a couple of weeks - Plan B can cause irregular bleeding or delay your cycle, so take a test to make sure you're not pregnant about 3 weeks from when you had unprotected intercourse.

Yes: Ensure that you let your prescribing medical provider know about the period of time that you were off zoloft.
