Yes and No: Thyroid Cancer comes in many forms. It may be localized to the Thyroid gland only, where it can remain harmless for one or two years but will likely spread slowly into Neck areas into the lymph nodes. It may stay there for one to two years. Then it is likely to spread to distant organs like Lungs and or Bone,rarely liver. Once it has spread away farther than tthe neck area, it is no longer curable
