Heel Protection.: Unfortunately, what works for some people doesn't work for everybody; probably due to the many reasons that are generally thought to cause the problem. Lack of moisture and trauma seem to be on top of the list, as well as not wearing protective footwear. The combination of moisturizer, socks, heel cups and shoes seem to make most lists of the more successful ingredients of minimizing the problem.
