If you are saying: that you are having vaginal bleeding with a lot of "small clots and pieces", I would be concerned you might be having a miscarriage. You indicate that you are sexually active, but not whether you are using contraception. First step: do a home pregnancy test. If negative, bleeding may be altered hormones either on or off hormonal contraception. See/contact your doctor for evaluation. Good wishes:)
