Hi, i had sex 4 days ago and the day after intercourse i was very sore (had been months since i last had sex) was also very painful whilst urinating. the pain has now gone but it's still irritated and sore? is this a friction burn/skin abrations?

See answer: Transient burning on urination and persistent soreness in the urethral area after vigorous intercourse suggests an irritative urethritis and vaginitis from friction. If the pain is sharp you may have a skin abrasion.

Possible: If it has been a while, then friction and trauma from sex can create this level of discomfort. However, if it persists make the assumption it could be an infection.
