HIV treatment: The latest recommendations are to start treatment no matter 'what' your CD4 count. The reason is that you're losing immunologic function every year you are not on meds. The meds these days are much much better than in years past, so side-effects are less. I recommend you start a conversation with an ID doc about going on therapy. I have seen great results with the combination fixed-dose meds.
