Better sleep: For a patient with ADHD, try to get your thoughts to slow down. Many people struggle with racing thoughts. Most of the time, they are thinking about things they have to do. Have a notebook at your bedside and write these thoughts down and forget them. This is very good way to start. Avoid exercise before bed. Turn the temperature down. Avoid eating. Drink a warm non-caffeinated beverage.
