Nonspecific: These symptoms are nonspecific at this time and may be merely due to an irritable nerve in the thumb and the shoulder symptom is probably unrelated. Observe for any signs of thumb swelling and/or inflammation. See your physician if symptoms persist or worsen,but until then I recommend waiting to see if symptoms resolve.
