Very difficult: I am really sorry you have to go through this - it is a very difficult condition to have. Are you on any kind of medications that might help with neuropathy - gabapentin, lyrica, (pregabalin) etc? Have you seen a neurologist for advice. I have had patients with CRPS that cannot tolerate any type of shoe. We have worked with medications, podiatrists, accupuncturists to try and formulate a workable plan.

Chronic pain : There are options available like trying medications which are for nerve pain like amitryptiline , nortryptiline , gabapentin etc . Orthotic shoes can be tried . Pain team referral would also be a good idea . Please discuss these with your GP .
