Can benzo withdrawl cause central sensitization in someone with chronic pain? because of the glutamate increase during withdrawl?

Complicated question: Benzo withdrawal can lead to CNS hyperactivity, from lower GABA and unopposed glutamate. Increased pain from increased CNS reactivity, more anxiety, and possibly seizures (not common) in the extreme. Central sensitization (CS) is usually a longer process from chronic hyper-sympathetic states/CNS changes. Transient increase in pain perception, is like a form of CS but should not persist.
