Gingivitis?: It sounds like you have a condition called gingivitis which in lay terms means swollen gums. Most often caused by accumulation of plaque and tartar along and/or below the gumline, it needs to be addressed and treated. See a dentist for an examination, have your teeth cleaned by a hygienist, and step it up with your home care. Brush 2-3 times a day and floss every day.

Gingivitis: If you noticed a frequent bleeding gums, it may be a sign that you are at risk for or already have gum disease. Gingivitis is a serious problem, which should be diagnosed professionally by a dentist.
