Depression, Prozac (fluoxetine): I understand your concern. Prozac is for depression and anxiety. 10mg/day is your maintenance dose for about 2 years. It is likely that you have become used to it if you did not have Therapy, and there may have been new stressor in your life. Be Captain of your thoughts, feelings, symptoms and actions. See Psychiatrist for Therapy for stress in your life, Medication if needed. Relaxation, Yoga.

SEE ANSWER: The dose may need to be increased or possibly another antidepressant added to the prozac (fluoxetine). Cognitive Behavioral Therapy can be self administered and can help relieve depression by itself and as an addition to medication. Go to my checklist discussing CBT "Improving Mental Health".
