Does this sound like hernia symptoms?under my left rib cage at night it feels like something is sliding around and a lump is there also.

Could be: It could be a hernia. If the lump is there all the time then it may be something else. Hernia lumps tend to come out or be more pronounced when there is increased abdominal pressure like when straining to have a bowel movement or when coughing. Have your doctor check it to make sure of the cause of the lump.
