Permethrin safe: Category B. The CDC considers the use of permethrin or pyrethrins with piperonyl butoxide the drug of choice for the treatment of pubic lice during pregnancy. (Also used to treat scabies ) Lindane is category C. Ivermectin category C.

Yes: Permethrin 5% cream is safe to take during pregnancy. Lindane is not.
