If you have a normal: heart, the palpitations are more a bother than a worry. It is very unlikely you will develop VF with a normal heart unless you have genetic arrhythmia risks. If you are very anxious you could ask your health care provider to obtain an EKG and a monitor in order to define your risks and ascertain the etiology of your palpitations.

I Doubt It: As long as you aren't stressed-out,on a binge, hungover, doing uppers,sleep-deprived, drinking too much coffee or colas, on some prescription medications with side-effects or using over the counter medications with certain side effects.And...as long as you have a good job or are doing well in school/college/trade school/a monastery or on a Merchant Marine ship--you should do OK.Otherwise see a doc
