Talk to orthodontist: Share your concerns with the orthodontist who installed your braces. They would be the one to remove them if you choose to waist all the cost of having them placed on. I had braces and l can tell you it was well worth the aggravation at first for the nice straight teeth!

Although that probably isn't wise, the final decision is yours. Before doing something rash, please discuss your reasons with the Dentist or Orthodontist treating you. Ask for a discussion of problems that can occur from discontinuing treatment prematurely. Expect to be asked to sign a waiver of liability.

You began orthodontic treatment to achieve a more harmonic smile. It takes time to move teeth... it's not a two week process. The old adage "no pain, no gain" applies to your situation. Don't give up so easily.... the rewards far outweigh the discomfort. Maybe invisalign would be better for you. Discuss with your treating dentist.
