Neurologic sxs: Tinnitus is produced by the eighth cranial nerve and numbness of the face and ear is primarily the fifth cranial nerve. Those two nerves are not very closely related in the brainstem. Without further information, you would need to see your primary care doctor or a neurologist to get a more detailed history and physical exam.
