Not likely.: Pancreatic cancer does not usually present with left rib pain. Most of the time, it has no symptoms, or sometimes unexplained weight loss. If you have undiagnosed left rib pain with no obvious cause, you should see your doctor. Good luck.

Referred pain: Pain in left rib most likely referred pain from a visceral site unless aggravated by direct pressure suggesting an expansile rib lesion. Pancreatic cancer arises most frequently in the head region and is associated with painless jaundice, mid body lesion with infiltration of solar plexus, a cause severe local pain and tail lesion presenting with tumor pseudo portal hypertension.
