Hi i have thyroid cancer papilary carcinoma how much iodine i have to take everybday in this case ? thank

Occasionally: Radioactive Iodine may be used to ablate residual thyroid tissue, and functioning metastatic disease. In between treatments, thyroid activity is suppressed by taking thyroid hormone. Iodine is not taken on a daily basis.
