Uvulitis: Your uvula can have an isolated infection called uvulitis, which can appear just like you describe it. It most often causes a sore throat. If the rest of it is red and you feel feverish, you would most likely benefit from antibiotics. You probably need to get checked so you can get the right diagnosis and treatment. Best wishes
