Varies: Ultimately, to lose weight simply means to burn more calories than you take in. There is no way one will not lose weight if they burn more calories than they take in. Exercise should begin gradually so you don't injure yourself. If you can burn 300-500 calories more than you take in you will steadily lose an impressive amount of weight.
