I've recently stopped taking citalopram, if i decide to go back on meds would zoloft (sertraline) be a similar alternative for my anxiety?

Psychiatrist choice: This is not a DIY project. You can and should play a big role, but let the psychiatrist make offers and provide info on pros/cons and alternatives. Your job is accurate descriptions, info on other conditions and meds and reactions. Anxiety is best to treat in combo w/ CBT - Learn skills!

Citalopram, Anxiety: Commend yourself for stopping Citalopram. Citalopram(Celexa) and Zoloft are SSRIs Medications. Both medications have side effects. Feel good for your achievements in your journey of 39 years. Breathing and Music Relaxation, Visual Imagery. Meditation, Yoga and Tai Chi are beneficial for Anxiety.
