Pursue med issues w/: Your doctor who prescribed is the appropriate one to discuss any medication issues you have with. They need feedback to make as good a choice as possible. While increased anxiety could be a side effect, there is little doubt that it can find a way to affect people through other routes. People with emotional problems are often seen to suffer anxiety co-morbidly with depression. Work w/ your doctor.
