A member asked:

I was wondering if these fruit teas have the same health benefits as regular green tea?

No: No - not really. Tea is derived from a tree called camellia sinensis. The leaves contain antioxidant polyphenols which have an anti-carcinogenic effect. The lighter the tea, the less it has been processed. White, red & green teas are especially helpful. Fruit teas are from fruits and not from camellia sinensis.
