Elevated d-dimer: You have not described your symptoms, Other causes of hi d-dimer gastritis/ GERD, recent surgery/trauma, liver disease , pulmonary disease like pneumonia, infection, auto immune( lupus) , aneurysms, dissection ( you would be very sick) pregnancy. if you are concerned the definitive test is CT angiogram or if you can not take take dye, then V/Q (ventilation /perfusion scan) Discuss w/do
