Sertraline effects: As per your information, you are 20 tear old. You are a caring person for 17 year old person. Please take this person to a Child Psychiatrist for your concerns and observations of panic attacks or anxiety, recent and past stressors, effect of symptoms on relationships, school and hobbies; discuss reasons for Sertraline 50mg at this time. Panic attacks usually are not side effect of Sertraline.

Depends: Panic disorder is generally long-standing, with a genetic factor and may recur over time. If stopping med, suggest bolstering coping skills by working with a mental health professional to minimize relapse.
