A member asked:

Can expired ground flax seed retain its nutritional value?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably: Flax seed will degrade by becoming rancid due to oxidation of the fats. So expired flax seed, ground or otherwise, might have an unpleasant taste. It has less nutritional value due to fat degredation.
