Not the best choice: Amoxicillin alone is generally ineffective for bacterial sinusitis. Call your doctor for another one- perhaps augmentin (amoxicillin and clavulanate) (amox-clav). Another possibility is that the infection is viral and antibiotics aren't going to treat it no matter which one you take. The vast majority of sinus infections are viral and need to just "run their course".
