A member asked:

Im 26next month ill be 27 i heard its better to have kids before the age of 30 do health problems the baby can get is that true will my baby get dysle?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Having babies at: later age (>35) can increase complications around birthting time, or prolonged labor, failure to descend, infections, placenta previa and a few other things such as preeclampsia. Low birth weight is also an issue. But under the age of 35, there has not been any studies that have shown there is a difference with those factors. As long as you keep yourself healthy and free of harmful substances.
