I heard that vernix found on babies is good for your gut health - is this true?

Unlikely: I couldn't think of any reason it would.This vernix, is composed of dead skin cells,hair and other debris from the sterile environment that surrounds baby.Many cosmetic firms use the material(obtained from cattle) as a collagen basis for cold cream. For this basic collagen (skin protein) to aid to the digestive system doesn't pass my BS filter.
