Overcall: I'm a pathologist and lab specialist and I think the public is being sold a bill of goods with these "estimated GFR's". They're antiscientific (there's a racial adjustment "because black people are more muscular"), and truth is, I think a creatinine of .80 is fine. If you have nocturia, you need to be tested to see if you can concentrate your urine. The other labs require clinical correlation.
